This milestone signals a new chapter in MEMO’s roadmap for decentralized AI Agents. We are not merely adopting two new protocols—we are integrating them as foundational pillars of a complete, end-to-end, decentralized full-stack solution for AI Agent creation, execution, coordination, and value settlement.

 

Dual Engines Powering the AI Agent Economy

To enable large-scale, trust-minimized collaboration among decentralized AI Agents, two challenges must be solved: payment and trust.
MEMO selected x402 and ERC-8004 as core ecosystem primitives, forming a dual-engine architecture.

1. Automated Payment Gateway (x402)

By integrating x402, MEMO removes the traditional payment bottleneck for autonomous systems.
x402 enables task-level micro-transactions to be executed automatically without human intervention.

Inside the MEMO network, AI Agents can now:

  • Settle payments instantly, just like calling an API
  • Exchange value autonomously during task execution
  • Collaborate without manual wallet operations

Provides censorship-resistant compute, decentralized storage, and privacy-preserving execution environments.
